About

Welcome to Castle Rock Women’s Health!

My name is Chelsea Mynyk. Ever since I was two years old and observed the amazing care midwives provided for my baby sister, I knew that I wanted to be a nurse, or more specifically a midwife. I have been a nurse for twenty years working in pediatrics and maternity in Colorado and Florida. I have also volunteered at pregnancy centers performing ultrasounds, teaching childbirth classes, newborn care, breastfeeding, and infant CPR/First Aid. In 2014, I had the opportunity to pursue my dream of obtaining my master’s degree as a Certified-Nurse Midwife from the University of Colorado. Since graduating in 2016, I have been part of a research team at the University gathering data for Nitrous Oxide use in labor. I have delivered over 70 babies and assisted with over 100 deliveries in the hospital, birth center, and home birth settings.

Mission of Castle Rock Women’s Health
The care a midwife provides for women has never been more important than today with all the changes in the health care system. A midwife is able to provide cost-effective care with positive outcomes for women, while also using fewer medical procedures and interventions. My husband, Daniel, and I are excited to open a women’s health clinic in Castle Rock that promotes the value of life at every stage, speaks God’s truth and love to women, and supports and encourages women through their individual journeys. Our key verse is Psalms 139:14 “I will praise Thee for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” The foundation of our care is based on this verse that God made each person unique, beautiful and wonderful. Castle Rock Women’s Health seeks to provide women of all ages and backgrounds with life-affirming, evidence-based care by both natural and conventional means.
